When I was 11 years old, my grandmother taught me to crochet. I became frustrated when I just couldn’t seem to get it right unless I was crocheting in front of her. My granny square was more of a granny circle. Soon after that, my grandmother taught me to cross-stitch which I continued to do into my teens.

Many years later and because of YouTube, I was able to re-learn how to crochet. Now I enjoy making amigurumis, hats, and other small projects.

Crochet Mae is named after my grandmother Palmae. I enjoy the craft she taught me so many years ago and enjoy sharing my creations.
